The contract for Martinsson's Soprano Saxophone Concerto for Anders Paulsson has been signed by the two Swedish co-commissioners the Norrlandsoperan and the Dalasinfoniettan. The two premieres are planned to the 2011/2012 season, and a CD recording will be made by the Swedish label Phono Suecia and the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra.

Anders Paulsson is one of the pioneers commissioning new music for his instrument and he is a highly dedicated musician and one of Sweden's internationally top leading performing artists. This solo concerto will be Martinsson's number seven. Previous concertos are written for trumpet, trombone, cello, flute and violin, and his Clarinet Concerto will be finished in the summer of 2010...
