Many exciting music collaborations will occur during the 22/23 season. In July 2022 soprano Elizabeth Llewellyn performed “Ich denke Dein…” with Philharmonia Orchestra/Emilia Hoving at Three Choirs Festival in Hereford, UK, and the same piece was programmed in September with Hanna Husáhr, Malmö Opera Orchestra with Patrik Ringborg conducting. Manfred Honeck has programmed “Open Mind” for three concerts at the end of October with Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in the US. In November Lisa Larsson and pianist Thomas Schuback have programmed “Songs on Poems by Emily Dickinson” for their recital concert in Sundsvall.

Open Mind – Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra – Manfred Honeck
Under the baton of Manfred Honeck, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra has programmed the concert opener “Open Mind” for three performances in October at Heinz Hall, Pittsburgh, US.
Biography
Rolf Martinsson serves as professor of composition at the Malmö Academy of Music and is a Fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music.
The world premiere of “Bridge – Trumpet Concerto”, dedicated to and premiered by Håkan Hardenberger, led to the international scene and the concerto has been frequently performed since the premiere by the commissioner Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra/Neeme Järvi in 1999.
